The environmental impact of the Deposit and Refund Scheme (SDR) is reflected in the direct benefits the scheme brings to the environment by encouraging the return and recycling of beverage packaging. 👀
📉 With the SDR, SDR Portugal estimates an annual reduction of 108,000 tonnes of CO₂, thanks to the recycling of around 100,000 tonnes of packaging.
