The Super Bock Group has once again seen the quality and brewing expertise
of its portfolio recognised at the 2026 World Beer Awards. The standout
achievement goes to the Super Bock Selecção 1927 Japanese Rice Lager, which
won the top global award for World’s Best Rice Beer, as well as
Gold and Country Winner medals.

The Super Bock Selecção 1927 Czech Golden Lager, sold exclusively in the
Chinese market, also won Gold and Country Winner, maintaining its high
standards of excellence after having won the same distinction at the 2025 edition.
In addition to the ‘World’s Best Rice Beer’ award and the two Gold medals from the
Super Bock Selecção 1927 range, the Super Bock Group recorded a
consistent performance across its entire portfolio. Within the same range of speciality beers,
Super Bock Selecção 1927 Munich Dunkel won the Silver medal for the
third consecutive year, whilst Super Bock Selecção 1927 Bavaria Weiss brought home
the Bronze medal to Portugal.

brewing sector, evaluating thousands of entries from around the world each year
based on rigorous criteria covering sensory profile, technical quality and adherence
to traditional and contemporary styles.
