Browers Beato launches regular program with beer brewing workshops, DJ sets, and happy hours
Browers Beato, the brewery located in the Beato Innovation District’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, kicks off this fall with a regular program designed to liven up both Lisbon locals and visitors. The venue, which combines a microbrewery and a restaurant, will become, starting October 2, one of the city’s prime spots for social, cultural, and gastronomic events.
The beer brewing workshops are the first highlight. The opening session takes place on October 2, Thursday, and marks the launch of the new Browers Lisboa Crispy Lager, brewed on-site and available at the restaurant to pair with Browers Beato’s food offerings.
These themed workshops will be held on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM, and are aimed at beer enthusiasts as well as anyone interested in learning more about this age-old beverage. They include tastings and a guided tour of the brewery. Participation is free but limited to 50 people. At the end, those who stay for dinner will receive a complimentary beer to enjoy with their meal.
Inspired by the Portuguese capital, the new Browers Lisboa Crispy Lager is a smooth, refreshing, and easy-drinking beer with a bright golden color. Its recipe includes Carolino rice, 100% Portuguese, which adds to its light character, and Tavira fleur de sel, which enhances its freshness. This beer embodies Browers’ motto, Brewing for all, and was developed in partnership with White Labs, yeast specialists.
The regular program also includes DJ sets scheduled for the second Friday of each month, with the first session on October 10. In addition, happy hours will be organized for fans to watch key matches from Liga Portugal and the UEFA Champions League, bringing together football, craft beer, and snacks in a lively atmosphere.
Beyond the monthly agenda, special events are also planned, such as Oktoberfest, inspired by German tradition, which will blend beer, food, and music.
It’s worth noting that, in addition to the exclusive beers brewed on-site, Browers Beato’s restaurant showcases a cuisine rooted in Portuguese flavors, featuring traditional dishes reimagined with a contemporary twist, along with a selection of hot and cold small plates designed for sharing in a relaxed setting.
